ZIYO Summer Tea Ceremony | 子遊 夏季茶會

The weather was sunny with clouds passing through and ending with light shower rain. The temperature was soothing accompanied with summer leafy garden. The tea ceremony was held in our back garden with the settings of two English oak benches. There were around ten participants, old friends and new friends.

This chawan 茶碗 is belongs to our tea friend, it was broken during the transport. It is now repaired with Kinstugi which is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the breakage with natural lacquer and highlighting with real gold dust.
