Wu Haoyu, born in Guangxi, has been a ceramic artist for 19 years. With an international reputation, he is now a teacher of Academy of Art and Design at Tsinghua University. He creates regardless of cost. Sometimes he even fires only one piece of work in a kiln, or deliberately damages a piece with high temperature. In the middle of January, Yit visited Wu Haoyu in his studio in Guangxi and talked about his career as a ceramicist over the past two decades.
